France star Kylian Mbappe has showed his desire to win another World Cup, after reacting to his side's victory over Morocco in the semi-final.

Mbappe has been France's main man at the tournament in Qatar and leads the goal king chart with five goals from six games.

"Back to back finals," he wrote on Twitter.

Having starred for Les Blues in Qatar, Mbappe will come up against his PSG teammate and arguably the greatest footballer of all time, Lionel Messi in the final on Sunday.

Messi inspired Argentina to a 3-0 win over Croatia in Tuesday's other semi-final, making it two finals in twelve years for the South Americans.

Both Argentina and France are chasing a third World Cup title.

Mbappe consoles PSG teammate Hakimi

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Morocco's fairy tale journey ended at the 2022 World Cup, as reigning champions France knocked them out of the competition on Wednesday night.

Mbappe consoled his friend and club teammate Achraf Hakimi after the match and even exchanged jerseys with him in a heartwarming moment.

The Atlas Lions were looking to make more history ahead of the game, with hopes of becoming the first African nation to play at the World Cup final.

Football is a sport that sometimes pits friends against friends and even brothers against brothers. The semi-final game between France and Morocco is one example of that sentiment.

PSG teammates Mbappe and Hakimi face each other, with the French star coming off the left wing and facing his friend in the right full-back position.

As it was ahead of the France versus England game, the duel between the duo is hugely anticipated, and both players built excitement by tweeting at each other.
