Barcelona fans troll Muller

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Barcelona fans mocked Thomas Muller on social media, after Germany crashed out of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

In a topsy-turvy night of football action, Group E took shape and surprisingly saw Japan progress to the knockout phase as group winners, with Spain occupying the second spot.

Germany were eliminated from the Mundial on goal difference, despite recording a 4-2 victory against Costa Rica at the Al Bayt Stadium.

Muller and his German colleagues were left in tears as they exited the tournament in the group stage for the second time in succession.
