Mohammed Kudus' outstanding performance for Ghana at the 2022 FIFA World Cup has not gone unnoticed.

Kudus has three goal involvements for the Black Stars in the competition, notching two goals and providing an assist in addition to winning a man-of-the-match award against South Korea.

His performance has earned him praise across the board, with his impact on the field courting the interest of many top European clubs, including Spanish giants FC Barcelona and Premier League club Liverpool.

The 22-year-old has now been elevated to the level of immortality by none other than Nima, a suburb of Accra in Ghana, where Kudus was born.

In a video shared on social media, seen by Sports Brief, a mural of Kudus celebrating one of his goals at the ongoing tournament has surfaced online.

According to the artist, Mohammed Awudu, he wants the mural to be a reminder to youngsters in the community [of Nima] that they can take on the world with dedication.

Kudus wins MOTM against Korea

Sports Brief reported that Kudus was Man of the Match after Ghana's entertaining victory over South Korea, in their second Group H game at the World Cup.

The Ajax star scored twice to help the Black Stars to a 3-2 victory at the Education City Stadium in Al Rayyan on Monday afternoon.

The 22-year-old gave the West Africans a two-goal lead before half time, after connecting to a Jordan Ayew cross and smashing home the winner from a pass from Gideon Mensah.

Kudus appears on Barcelona's radar

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Spanish outfit Barcelona are scouting midfielder Kudus, following his blistering form this season with Dutch giants Ajax.

The midfielder, who also plays as a forward, has popped up on the radar of several clubs after lighting up the World Cup with his impressive displays.

Barcelona's Sporting Director Jordi Cruyff has now revealed that the Catalan giants have been monitoring the player for some time now.
