Sulemana follows the footsteps of Hakimi

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Rennes winger Kamaldeen Sulemana shared a heartwarming moment with his mum in the stands on the back of Ghana's enthralling five-goal thriller with South Korea.

Sulemana, who was a second-half substitute, contributed his quota in ensuring the Black Stars withstood last-minute efforts from the Koreans to pick a vital win in their second group game.

A brace from eventual man-of-the-match winner Mohammed Kudus and a strike from Mohammed Salisu rendered Cho Gue-Sung's double a mere consolation in a nervy affair.

Ghana's 3-2 win over the Asian powerhouse puts them on the brink of qualification to the round of 16 but will have to avoid defeat against Uruguay in the final group game.
