Paris Saint-Germain forward Lionel Messi on Saturday night, 26 November, inspired Argentina to their first win at the ongoing FIFA World Cup in Qatar beating Mexico.
After losing their opening game of the competition against Saudi Arabia, Messi and his teammates knew that only a win against Mexico can make them remain in Qatar.
They however did themselves lots of good by getting the victory which has now restored their hopes of qualifying for the knockout stages if they should win last game.
Their win over Mexico did not come easy, as Argentina's two goals were scored in the second half of the encounter.

Moment of joy in Bangladesh
According to a video the world's football governing body shared on their social media page, fans in Bangladesh can be seen shouting and celebrating Messi's goal against Mexico.
This clearly showed that people of that part of the world are supporters of the former Barcelona captain.

Meanwhile, Argentina will be facing Poland in their last group game at the World Cup in which a win will send them to the knockout stage.
Mexican star took son to Messi
Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how heartwarming video emerged on social media where Mexico international Andrés Guardado was spotted taking his son to the dressing room to meet Lionel Messi.
The adorable moment happened after the Real Betis star and his teammates lost against Argentina in their second group game at the ongoing 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
Guardado however decided to fulfill the dream of his son by taking him to Messi and the Paris Saint-Germain star was also happy to see the little boy.
Interestingly, Messi scored one of the two goals that gave Argentina a 2-0 win over Mexico on Saturday night, 26 November.
