Tite’s 26-man squad will be looking to bring back the glory days of old and have a great chance of doing so with their balance of attack and defence.

A lethal attack:

All eyes will be on Real Madrid’s Rodrygo and Vinicius Jr, as well as Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar. Liverpool’s Roberto Firmino has been the surprise omission, though.

Brazil have Premier League duo Alisson and Ederson between the sticks, while veteran defenders like Thiago Silva from Chelsea and 39-year-old Barcelona legend Dani Alves are among those who have made the cut.

Brazil’s full team is as follows:

Wholesome footage of Richarlison's reaction after being named in Brazil's final World Cup squad emerges

Richarlison broke down to tears of joy after hearing his name in the final 26-man squad of Brazil for the World Cup in Qatar, Sports Brief earlier reported.

Having played a role in the qualifiers under coach Tite, the Tottenham star was unsure of his position in the star-studded Brazilian team.

However, his consistent goal-scoring form in the Yellow and Blue jersey of Brazil has earned him a place in the squad.
