Fans watch at flooded venue

In October, Sports Brief had reported on serious football fans not allowing the flooding to interrupt their Premier League viewing.

Video emerged on social media of around 15 to 25 fans at a viewing venue in the Bayelsa State, watching the match between Leeds and Arsenal with their legs up as water swirled around the wooden benches.

The people of Bayelsa state were also being displaced by flooding at that stage, with many properties destroyed.
