Matteo Lo Cicero, who works as a steward for Italian giants AS Roma, has been suspended by his employers for talking to and taking selfies with Nigerian and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen.
Osimhen was the man of the match last Sunday as Napoli defeated Roma 1-0 in Serie A battle, with the Nigerian striker netting the winning goal in the 80th minute.
Football fans in Nigeria and many parts of the world were impressed with the goal Osimhen scored against Roma, netting from a nearly impossible angle.
After the game at the Stadio Olimpico, Cicero rushed to meet the Nigerian striker and they had conversation together before taking selfies.

According to the latest report on Sportsday, AS Roma chiefs were not pleased with how Cicero went to meet Osimhen for selfies and they have asked him to stay away.
Who took Cicero to Osimhen?
It was Nigerian reporter Oma Akatugba who took Cicero to Osimhen after the match, and the 18-year-old Ethiopian was happy to meet his soccer idol.
The report added that Osimhen has reached out to Cicero and promised to get the 18-year-old another job.
