Not only is the trio renowned for their magic on the football pitch, but they have now been united in a dream team of sorts. The Barcelona man, the former Bafana Bafana great and the ex-Orlando Pirates and Mamelodi Sundowns general will feature in the Puma Players' Lounge collection.

According to SowetanLIVE, a statement from the sports apparel company read:

“Paying homage to iconic ’60s and ’70s football style, the Players’ Lounge collection is an inclusive range of apparel, footwear, and accessories, inspired by Puma’s heritage and designed for the next generation.

Alongside Jomo Sono, Khumalo became one of the first South African players to have football boots named after them with the Puma collections of the 1980s and 1990s.

According to Soccer Laduma, the Players' Lounge collection will go on sale on Thursday, 25 October.

Bafana Bafana and Kaizer Chiefs legend Doctor Khumalo could become integral to lifting Tanzanian football to greater heights on the African continent.

As reported by Sports Brief, Khumalo said that football authorities in the East African nation have approached him to be involved in the construction of a football academy there. '16V' is in the country for the Tanzanian Blue Economy Football Development Summit 2022.

This was just days after Khumalo took aim at SAFA for overlooking the likes of Lucas Radebe in the rebirth of local football. The former Kaizer Chiefs and Leeds United rock was nominated to CAF's technical and development committee alongside other legends like Cameroons Jeremi Njitap and Senegal's Khalilou Fadiga.
