Germany and England are known as juggernauts or world football, but their recent results haven’t reflected that.

The ongoing UEFA Nations League has exposed frailties with both sides ahead of the World Cup and also made for some shocking stats.

Between the two sides, they have only picked up 1 win in the last 10 games. That one win belongs to Germany as they beat Italy in the UEFA Nations League.

In Germany’s last five games, they have drawn three, won one and lost one game. Gareth Southgate’s men have drawn three and lost two games. One of those losses was a humiliating 4-0 loss to Hungary in England.

While England did fight back from 2 goals down against Germany in their last Nation’s League game, two of the goals they scored were their first goals from open play in their past six games.

With the World Cup only eight weeks away, England and Germany will be hoping for improved performances.

Germany have won the tournament four times and finished as runners-up four times as well.

England, on the other hand, have won the tournament once; their only appearance in the finals of the tournament.
