Kwara United were given an ugly welcome before their CAF Confederation Cup game against AS Douanes de Niamey in Niger.
Just before they alighted from their bus and were headed to the stadium, two spiritualist in the colours of AS Douanes sprinkled blood on the players of Kwara United.
In a video posted on social media, one sorcerer is seen sprinkling the blood at the players while the other walked with a black goat.
The scene forced an official of Kwara United tO confront the herbalist, who reacted with death threats.

Despite the spiritual act before the game, Kwara United sailed through after a goalless draw in Niamey. The Nigeria progressed with a 3-0 aggregate scoreline.
Meanwhile, it is yet to be known if the Confederation of African Football will act on such disgusting act.
