15. Individual recognition

Mbappe began his junior career at AS Bondy, where his father was the coach, before joining Monaco's second squad in 2015. However, his skill and maturity promoted him to the first team after only three weeks.

He made his first appearance for the team after only two months in a 1-1 tie against SM Caen. After this match, he became the club's youngest-ever first-team player, breaking Thierry Henry's record to become the club's youngest goalscorer in history.

Standing on the first rung of the celebrity ladder, he demonstrated his superiority during his second season with Monaco, scoring 26 goals in 44 games. That season, he helped his club reach the Champions League semifinals and win their first Ligue 1 title in 17 years.

14. His honours with Monaco

In his solitary 2016/17 season with Monaco, he won the French Ligue 1 and was also a finalist in the Coupe de la Ligue. In that same year, he won the Young Player of the year award and was in the Ligue 1 team of the year. This is one of the times Kylian Mbappe impressed the world.

13. His honours with PSG

He has won Ligue 1 4 times, the Coupe de France 3 times, the Coupe de la Ligue twice, and the Trophee des Champions twice. He was the UEFA Champions League runner-up in 2020. In his current period with the French giants, the world is seeing arguably the best version of Mbappe playing.

12. Golden Boy award

Undoubtedly, every football player in the world aspires to win the most prestigious football awards and shatter various world records. One of these several accolades is, without a doubt, the Golden Ball, which he won at the age of 19.

He began his career with France's U17 and 19 national teams before being called to the first team for matches against Luxembourg and Spain in March 2017.

At 18 years, three months, and five days, he became France's second-youngest player behind Maryan Wisniewski, scoring his first senior international goal in a 2018 World Cup qualification match against the Netherlands on August 31, 2017. That was one of the times Kylian Mbappe showed who is the boss.

11. A world record transfer

Mbappe, responsible for some of the most memorable moments in Monaco FC history, didn't spend much of his golden professional career with the Monégasques. Instead, he was quickly offered a lucrative transfer fee to move to Paris Saint-Germain.

He joined the Parc des Princes on loan on August 31, 2017. After two seasons on loan with the club, the young star was offered a permanent transfer fee of $190 million, just a year before the World Cup. As a result, he became the most expensive adolescent ever, the most costly move ever within a domestic league, and the second most expensive player of all time, trailing only Brazilian superstar Neymar.

10. Becoming PSG’s new No. 7

PSG's number 7 was given to the team's young star after the departure of Lucas Moura, who joined Tottenham in 2018. PSG revealed this on Twitter, along with a promotional film featuring Mbappe.

Mbappé repeatedly remarked, "I'm still working on the pitch, and I believe it was the perfect time for me to switch numbers. It's a kind of confirmation. The No. 7 shirt is legendary, and many greats have worn it. So I'm hoping I can do this number credit on the pitch."

9. Three times Ligue 1 Player of the Year

Mbappe has always been one of the greatest young footballers, and as Paris Saint-number Germain's seven, he quickly climbed the success ladder.

He began his first season with a stunning Ligue 1 victory over Guingamp, in which Donatello scored twice in the final 10 minutes. Soon after, he joined Cavani and Neymar in scoring three goals in their home game against Angers, culminating in a 3-1 victory. He was the highlight of that game, scoring on a volley and assisting Neymar.

8. Scoring four against Lyon

He scored four goals in a 5-0 victory over Lyon in only 13 minutes to become the youngest player to score four goals in one game in Ligue 1. This is one of the 10 things only Mbappe did in football.

This was yet another pivotal moment in his career, as he scored four goals between the 61st and 74th minutes of the game. So finally, after 45 seasons, the record will be broken.

7. A hattrick to start a year

Beginning the New Year, Mbappe became one of two PSG players, along with Cavani, to score a hattrick in a 9-0 win against Guingamp on January 19. A fantastic start! Don't you think so? It's also worth noting that his performance broke PSG's previous season's record.

Against his previous club, Monaco, Mbappe scored a hattrick in a 3-1 win against them in April of that year. PSG won Ligue 1 that season, with Mbappé named Player of the Year and leading goalscorer with 33.

6. More records to be broken

Mbappe opened the new season with another championship added to his resume, scoring in a 2-1 triumph over Rennes to claim the 2019 Trophée des Champions. Soon after, the bright star came off the bench in another PSG game, creating another spectacular moment.

Mbappe scored another fantastic hattrick in a 5-0 Champions League away win over Belgian club Club Brugge on October 22, 2019. With barely two months until his 21st birthday, he became the youngest football player in UCL history to score at least 15 goals. The Mbappe world record sprint is clocked at 38 km/h.

5. League top scorer

With a twelve-point advantage over second-placed Marseille at the time of the league's suspension in 2020, PSG won not only the championship but also Mbappé, who had 18 goals and shared the league's top scorer honours with Wissam Ben Yedder of Monaco, won the title thanks to his superior goals per game ratio.

4. First International goal

After scoring his first international goal against the Netherlands in the 2018 World Cup qualification, he became France's youngest World Cup goalscorer (aged 19), fantastic for everyone in Russia. This is one of the best times Kylian Mbappe shocked the world.

3. A UCL finalist

Mbappe has held several titles and records despite his youth. However, one of the most significant ones, the UEFA Champions League championship, was still absent.

He, therefore, had only one goal when he returned to the field for the Champions League quarterfinal match against Atalanta after recovering from the injury he had been dealing with since the 2020 Coupe de France Final, and he succeeded in achieving it.

Eric Choupo-late Moting's injury-time goal gave PSG a delicious victory after Mbappe entered the game in the second half as a substitute.

Interestingly, this was PSG's first Champions League semifinal appearance since 1995, which was a massive accomplishment in and of itself. The Parisians trounced their opponents 3-0 to get to their first-ever Champions League final. However, they were defeated 1-0 by their opponents, Bayern Munich.

2. Four goals in a World Cup qualifier

The turtle earned his first international hattrick in Les Bleus' 2022 World Cup qualifier against Kazakhstan. Mbappe scored four goals, three of which came in the first 32 minutes and the last only minutes before the final whistle, assisting his team to an 8-0 victory and assuring their qualification for next year's event.

1. A World Cup winner

His international career began when he was only 18 and 3 months old when he became the second-youngest player to represent France's senior team in history.

His outstanding effort earned him the match's man of the match award, and he became only the second youngster to score twice in a World Cup tournament. Pele is the only other player in history to have done so.

In the FIFA World Cup final, Mbappe scored once in his 4-2 triumph against Croatia, becoming the second youngest player to do so after Pele. This was one of the best times Kylian Mbappe surprised the football world.

The post describes the times Kylian Mbappe shocked the football world. Unlike Messi and Ronaldo, the French forward is young and set to produce his best moments. Nothing but pure dominance can be predicted from his future.
