The Spanish international for plays for RB Leipzig is currently on the injured list and is in danger of missing out on a place at the World Cup in November.
As reported by Football Espana, Olmo sustained an injury during Leipzig's Bundesliga game against Eintracht Frankfurt.
During the game, Olmo clashed with Djibril Sow and had to be taken off in the first half. Doctors later confirmed that he suffered a partial ligament rupture.

As noted by Bulinews, Olmo is eyeing a return to the team by October 25 at the latest. The World Cup kicks off in Qatar on November 20.
Leipzig will face Real Madrid in the Champions League on October 25, and Olmo hopes to be fit for that game after Leipzig's narrow defeat against Los Blancos in Spain.
More importantly, Olmo hopes to be back in time to earn a spot in Luis Enrique's Spanish side for the World Cup.
Olmo has come up the Spanish national team's youth ranks and eventually made his debut for the first team in 2019. He has since played 24 games for the national time and scored four goals so far.
