Legendary Ghanaian forward, Asamoah Gyan, has praised ex-teammate Kevin-Prince Boateng for giving his best anytime he wore the Black Stars jersey.
Kevin-Prince Boateng was the darling boy of the national team at the 2010 FIFA World Cup in South Africa as the Black Stars reached the quarter-finals.
Despite being born in Germany, Boateng decided to play for Ghana at international level, making 15 appearances and scoring two goals.
“Sometimes we should forget about everything. Kevin-Prince Boateng when he came, it was a whole lot but he was able to deliver,” Gyan said as quoted by Pulse.

Asamoah Gyan has told Europe-born players ready to play for Ghana to pick a leaf from Kevin-Prince Boateng's book.
“Football-wise, those who have come in are great players, Tariq Lamptey and those guys are very good players and they can also put something into the national team," added Asamoah Gyan.
“My advice to those guys is, we are here to support them but my question is what next?
“They should not come and play because of the world cup and afterwards, they decide to decline subsequent invitations. Once you have naturalized for Ghana, you should be fully committed to the national team.
