The photos of African football stars including Sadio Mane and Andre Onana has been mounted on major buildings in Doha, Qatar ahead of the 2022 World Cup.

The Gulf country is preparing to hosts 32 countries in November for the global football fiesta.

In photos posted on social media, spotted by Sports Brief, the images of the African football icons were spread across the city.

Sadio Mane's gigantic photo is seen hanging on a huge structure in the centre of Doha, as well as the likes of Edouard Mendy and Andre Onana.

There were also images of players such as former Barcelona striker Luis Suarez and the World Cup trophy itself.

The recent development is meant to beautify the capital of Qatar before the arrival of the 32 nations in November.

The 2022 FIFA World Cup begins on November 20 and ends on December 18, 2022.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Asamoah Gyan is not giving up on his dreams of playing at a fourth FIFA World Cup, as he draws inspiration from the legendary Roger Milla.
