European Football Fans Express Delight as Fireboy’s Song Livens Up UEFA Super Cup

Party Scatter which is a music of Nigerian singer Fireboy has been spotted being played in the background at the Olympic Stadium in Helsinki, Finland before the tie between Real Madrid and Eintracht Frankfurt.

Fireboy is one of the leading Nigerian singer who is signed to YBNL Nation, a record label founded by Nigerian rapper Olamide. His debut studio album Laughter, Tears and Goosebumps was released in 2019.

Before the start of the Super Cup game, Nigerian Sports Reporter Oma Akatugba made a live video where the music of Fireboy was heard being played in the stadium.

What was the result of the match?

David Alaba and Karim Benzema scored the two goals as Real Madrid defeated Eintracht Frankfurt 2-0 in the Super Cup game.

Karim Benzema was superb in the game once again and fans have even been tipping him to win the Ballon d'Or award for this year.

It will be recalled that Karim Benzema also played an important role in helping Real Madrid to win the Champions League for last season beating Liverpool in the final.

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Nigeria’s Falconets will file out against their France counterparts on Friday as they begin their quest for the FIFA Women’s World Youth Championship title.

Coach of the French team, Sonia Haziraj, has expressed fears facing the African side, saying the Falconets have quality.

She disclosed that she respects African football teams but emphasised that Nigeria know how to qualify from the group stage.

The Falconets will face France on Friday morning at 12:00 a.m and will hope to start the tournament on a positive note at the expense of the Nigerians.

The team’s coach, Christopher Danjuma, said the team’s mentality and the much-vaunted Nigerian spirit should come to count. Canada and South Korea are other teams drawn in the group.
