Chiamaka Nnadozie Breaks Silence Following Series of Distractions Against Morocco

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Super Falcons goalkeeper Chiamaka Nnadozie lamented the level of distractions she and her teammates faced against hosts Morocco at the 2022 Africa Women’s Cup of Nations tournament.

Nigeria were shown red cards in the 48th and 71st minute as the North Africans eventually win the tie 5-4 via penalties after the game had ended 1-1 in regulation time.

The Nigerian goalkeeper clearly stood out during the fiery contest, denying the Atlas Lionesses several goals after the Falcons were overpowered.

Nnadozie was named player of the match, and after the game, she attributed the loss to the wave of distractions from the opposition.
