Italy goalkeeper hits out at journalist after 5-2 humbling by Germany

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Gianluigi Donnarumma was in no mood for scathing interview questions after Italy’s humbling at the hands of Germany on Tuesday.

The Azurri, who will not be participating in the World Cup, were beaten 5-2 by a resurgent Germany as Timo Werner got two goals for his nation.

In what was another lackluster performance by Roberto Mancini’s side, Italy were down 5-0 and it took late goals from Willy Gnonto and Alessandro Bastoni to ease the unflattering scoreline.

Donnarumma, a Paris Saint Germain player, took some questions after the game, but it was clear he was upset by the result.

Despite accepting some part in the defeat, one journalist pressed the shot spotter by suggesting that he struggled to play out from back passes in the game.
