Fans flooded the streets of Kolda, a city in the southern part of Senegal, to celebrate the country's AFCON success four months after winning the trophy in Cameroon.

Since winning AFCON in February, only fans in the capital have had the chance to witness the trophy, but over the weekend, a mini-parade was organized for Senegalese fans in the southern part.

In a video posted on Twitter, coach Aliou Cisse and defender Saliou Ciss represented the Teranga Lions as fans came out in numbers to cheer their heroes.

Senegal defeated Egypt on penalties to win their first-ever continental championship early this year.

The African champions have also qualified for the FIFA World Cup, beating the same side on penalties and have had a good start to their AFCON qualifiers.
