Liverpool forward Sadio Mane has reportedly agreed to join Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich on a three-year deal.

The Senegalese has been strongly linked with a move away from Anfield this summer despite having one year left on his contract with the English Premier League club.

"Liverpool and Bayern Munich began official talks yesterday."

SPORTbible however reports that Mane has kept mute about details of his future and after he was bombarded with questions earlier, he stated that he would give a special answer after the Champions League final.

He said:

"Honestly I think the answer I can give you now is I feel very good, and I am fully focused on Saturday's game, that is the answer I must give before the final.
"I love what I am doing and I sacrifice myself all the time; I am working hard every single day on the pitch and in the gym and I get better and better, that's the most important. I am trying my best to help the team."

Pogba leaves Manchester United

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba has left English Premier League club Manchester United following the end of his contract with the English giants.

The France international leaves the English giants after six years in his second stint as a player of the Red Devils.

Manchester United confirmed the departure of the midfielder on their official website, thanking him for his services.

The former Juventus player has been linked with a return to the Old Ladies and he is also on the radar of Paris Saint Germain and Real Madrid.

Harry Maguire could be replaced as Man Utd captain

Sports Brief earlier reported that as Manchester United brace up under new manager Erik Ten Hag, under-fire defender Harry Maguire could be replaced as the captain of the Red Devils.

Reports have it that superstar striker Cristiano Ronaldo could become the captain of the club if a change is eventually required at the Old Trafford.

Bruno Fernandes and goalkeeper David de Gea are also leading candidates for the position should Maguire be stripped ahead of next season.
