Legendary Cameroon striker Samuel Eto'o has celebrated the 13th anniversary of his heroics with Barcelona in the final of the 2009 UEFA Champions League.

Samuel Eto'o opened the scoring as Barcelona beat Manchester United 2-0 to win the UEFA Champions League final in Rome.

The now Cameroon Football Federation president shared a video of his goal in the game as he celebrated the anniversary of the final.

The victory over Manchester United earned Eto'o his second UEFA Champions League trophy, a period the Catalans dominated.

Samuel Eto'o went on to win it again in 2010 with Italian giants Inter Milan.

His first success in the competition was in 2006, when he scored to equalizer before Barcelona went on to defeat Arsenal and win the tournament.

Eto'o scored 108 goals in 144 appearances for the Catalan giants between 2004 to 2009.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Inter Milan Hall of Famer, Samuel Eto'o has praised his former club's signing of Cameroonian goalkeeper Andre Onana.

The former Italian champions agreed a deal in principle with the goalkeeper in January but arrived in Milan this week to concluded the deal.

Eto'o who won a historic treble with Inter Milan in 2010 drew comparison between Onana and his former teammate Julio Cesar, and believes his compatriot can steer the Nerazurri's to success.
