African football legends Didier Drogba and Samuel Eto'o are among the dignitaries gracing the Africities summit in Kisumu.

Drogba is understood to be representing Ivory Coast, while Eto'o is representing the Cameroon Football Association.

According to Citizen Digital, the two football icons are expected to deliver an address related to football and sports on the sidelines of the 9th Edition of Africities conference in the lakeside city.

Samuel Eto'o's visit to Kisumu comes just weeks after he vacationed at Kenya's coastal town of Malindi.

At the time, the Barcelona legend was in the company of his family, with the former Cameroon international giving fans a glimpse of the trip by sharing a photo of him and his family next to a private jet.

Eto'o is understood to have jetted into the country secretly, with a number of his Kenyan fans learning about his presence when he was jetting out.
