Ronaldinho sparked to light under the lights of the Burj Khalifa to lead his team of legends beat fellow ex-player Luis Figo's eleven in Dubai.
The Brazilian football icon had the likes of Kaka and Jay Jay Okacha in his team as they defeated Figo's XI that had Cameroon legend Samuel Eto'o and former Chelsea star John Terry.
In photos posted on social media, the former footballers enjoyed their time together in Dubai amid chants from fans and onlookers.
The game ended 18-16 in favour of Ronaldo's side, after three stanzas of 20 minutes each on Thursday night.
The 2002 World Cup winner's side took the lead in the first 20 minutes, beating Figo's team 7-5.
But Figo's men clawed back to win 5-3 in the second 20 minutes, setting up an exciting final round.
However, Ronaldinho's men won the final 20 minutes 8-6 to win the entire 60 minute game 18-16.
"Good to see you my friends!!! TMJ and until the next match," wrote an excited Ronaldinho at the end of the game.
Ronaldinho shares inside story with Jay Jay Okocha and Valderrama
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Brazil and FC Barcelona legend Ronaldinho Gaucho has disclosed his secret admiration for ex-Super Eagles skipper Austin Jay-Jay Okocha and Colombian icon Carlos Valderrama.
According to the two-time World Footballer of the Year, the only No. 10's he admired were Okocha and Valderrama.
In a post on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Ronaldinho - who is mentioned in the same breath as Maradona and Pele as one of the greatest footballers to have graced the sport - eulogized the aforementioned duo.
