Cameroonian Football Federation boss Samuel Eto'o met France President Emmanuel Macron during his visit of Paris.
The legendary Barcelona forward was at the Stade de France to watch the French Cup final between OGC Nice and FC Nantes.
In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Samuel Eto'o is seen getting a handshake from the French President in a lovely gesture.
The FECAFOOT President is currently on a tour of Europe monitoring Cameroonian players, including FC Nantes defender Jean-Charles Castelleto.
Samuel Eto'o wrote on Twitter: "A pleasure to see President Emmanuel Macron at Saturday’s match between Nice and Nantes."
Jean-Charles Castelleto played the entire 90 minutes as FC Nantes pipped OGC Nice to win the trophy for the first time in 22 years.
Ludovic Blas' 47th minute penalty separated the two sides at the Stade de France on Saturday night.
Cameroon defender Michael Ngadeu pays tribute to Samuel Eto'o
Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Michael Ngadeu-Ngadjui has paid tribute to FECAFOOT President Samuel Eto'o for ensuring a successful hosting of the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations.
The tournament which was moved to 2022 due to COVID-19 was plunged with uncertainty, with pressure from FIFA and some footballing governing bodies for the competition to be postponed again.
However, Eto'o who assumed office late last year resisted moves to cancel the tournament as he stood firm by his decision that Cameroon were ready.

The Black Stars winger clinched his first trophy in France after Nantes recorded a narrow 1-0 win over Nice at Stade de France.
The victory means Nantes have secured their fourth Coupe de France crown and their first major trophy since 2000.
