Bayern Munich Legend Opens up on Desire to Become a Pastor

Legendary Bayern Munich defender Samuel Osei Kuffour has revealed that he wants to be a pastor and win souls for God.

The former Ghana international is rated as one of the best defenders to play in the Bundesliga, winning six league titles with the Bavarian giants.

Kuffour played a vital role for Bayern Munich as they were crowned the 2000–01 Champions League champions and finished second in African Footballer of the Year's voting also in that year.

After retiring in 2009, Kuffour entered into sports punditry working with SupersSports in South Africa and other television stations in his home country.

And now the Ghana football legend has disclosed that he has ambitions to become a pastor as he owes it a duty to win souls for the Kingdom of God.

"God's time is the best. For me, what he has done for me, there is nothing I can do to pay him back, Kuffour told GTV, as quoted by GhanaWeb.
"I can't give God money. I can't give him anything. But the only thing I can do for him is to win souls for him. For me, being a man of God, a lot of people will change their lives."

Samuel Osei Kuffour is currently the president of the Professional Footballers Association of Ghana (PFAG), the mother body for Ghanaian professional footballers.
