According to a statement on Indy Eleven's official website, the details of Asante's contract will not be made public but he is expected to join his teammates in the next three weeks after completing his paperwork.

What are some of his achievements in the USL Championship?

Asante joins Indiana’s Team after an accomplished four-year span with Phoenix Rising FC that included three All-USL Championship First Team nods from 2018 to 2020 and back-to-back league MVP honours in 2019 and 2020, making him only the second player in league history to win the award twice alongside Kevin Molino.

The 5’2” dynamo was simply the most productive player in the Championship during his run in the desert, scoring 54 goals and contributing 42 assists in 113 regular seasons (103) and playoff (10) contests.

Does he have any other recognisable feats in his career?

Asante has been capped by Ghana at the senior level on 21 occasions between 2012 and 2015.

He has also played for a host of clubs across Africa including clubs in his native Ghana, Burkina Faso and the Democratic Republic of Congo, where he won the CAF Champions League and Super League titles.
