Sergio Ramos felt the sting of the Paris Saint-Germain supporters for the first time in his first appearance in over two months.

Ramos has had a slow start to life in Paris as the Spanish defender was only making his 6th appearance for PSG since a summer move from Real Madrid.

The 36-year-old has been plagued by injuries that have made him miss several key games for PSG, much to the frustration of the Paris Saint-Germain supporters.

According to a report via Sports Bible, ​​the Parisian fans gave the World Cup winner an extremely hostile reception when he made an appearance against Lorient.

Ramos was booed and whistled at with every touch of the ball after replacing Brazilain defender, Marquinhos in the 72nd minute of PSG's 5-1 win against Lorient.

The Spanish defender joins Lionel Messi and Neymar who had earlier been meted with the same treatment following PSG's early exit from the Champions League in the round of 16.

Pochettino says Ramos deserves respect

Meanwhile, PSG manager, Mauricio Pochettino has condemned the attack on Sergio Ramos by the club's supporters after the Spanish defender was booed against Lorient.

According to Goal, the Argentine boss described the Spanish defender as a great champion and insisted the defender deserves more respect.

Ramos is yet to replicate the brilliant form he had with Real Madrid in Paris where he won the UEFA Champions League, Spanish La Liga, Copa Del Rey, and Club World Cup multiple times.
