On Tuesday afternoon, famous Black Stars players, Thomas Partey, Daniel Amartey, Jordan Ayew and even the new boy Felix Afena-Gyan had their names chanted as they dropped from the bus at the Mashood Abiola stadium.
In a video posted on Twitter, Arsenal's Thomas Partey and Daniel Amartey had the loudest cheers as they walked into the stadium.
One fan stated Thomas Partey will be the future Arsenal captain as the 28-year-old waved at him.
The Black Stars held their first training session at the stadium in Abuja as they prepare for the Super Eagles of Nigeria on Tuesday.
However, their training session had to be interrupted by power outage.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that Ghana's first and final training before the crucial World Cup play-off against Nigeria in Abuja was stopped after light went off at the Moshood Abiola stadium.
The Black Stars arrived in Abuja on Monday afternoon before going to the 60,000 capacity stadium to have their mandatory training before the big game on Tuesday.
However, while training the light went off, leaving the Black Stars stranded and had to abruptly end their exercise.
