Swiss international and midfield partner of Thomas Partey, Granit Xhaka has appraised the abilities of the Ghana international on the back of his great run of form.
Partey has slowly endeared himself into the hearts of the Arsenal faithful with his domineering performance from midfield.
The 28-year-old midfield linchpin has barely put a foot wrong since the start of the year and his string of awesome performances culminated in him clinching the February Player of the month for Arsenal.
His most recent inch-perfect display against Leicester City sparked a chain of endless praise with Granit Xhaka joining the bandwagon to shower praises on the Ghanaian
"He criticised himself very hard I think [earlier in the season], but he’s fit, he’s healthy, he’s so important for us," Xhaka told Arsenal Media.
Xhaka, who partners Partey in midfield, was quick to underline the importance of the former Atletico Madrid midfielder in the team.
"You can see his qualities without the ball, with the ball and everything starts from him and not only on the pitch but off the pitch as well he’s a lovely guy, a guy who helps the young people a lot, I’m enjoying being a part of the midfield with him."
