Famous broadcaster Piers Morgan has named Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo as the greatest player he has seen in his lifetime, SPORTbible reports.

The Portuguese forward proved to the world once again that he was fully capable of changing the game despite his advanced age as he single-handedly set his team on course for victory against their top-four rivals.

He scored his 806th career goal in Old Trafford on Saturday, breaking FIFA's all-time record for most goals in competitive matches in men's football history, previously held by Josef Biscan with 805 goals.

Piers Morgan who is a close pal of CR7 was delighted to see his friend reach such a feat and has ranked him in his ten best players of this lifetime.

Rangnick hails Cristiano Ronaldo

Meanwhile, Manchester United interim manager, Ralf Rangnick says Ronaldo's performance against Tottenham on Saturday, March 12 was his best on and off the pitch.
