Shocking Moment Thai Footballer Floors Opponent With Muay Thai Elbow; Video Drops

A footballer's contract has been terminated by his club after he launched an astonishing Muay Thai-style attack on his opponent.

The startling incident occurred during a third division match between Bangkok FC and North Bangkok University FC on Sunday.

In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, Aitsaret Noichaiboon was seen slamming his elbow into the face of Supasan Ruangsuphanimit after he was clipped on the leg by his opponent.

The referee immediately shown Noichaiboon a red card following his brutal attack as players from the opposing side attempted to confront him.

Ruangsuphanimit was rushed to hospital following the assault and required 24 stitches to treat a wound on his face.

After the incident, Bangkok FC announced that Noichaiboon had been sacked by the club.

“Bangkok FC would like to [take a] stand and not support the action,” the statement read.
“The club has cancelled the contract of the player.
“The club would like to express our condolences for the incident and will do everything possible to stop this happening again.”

Earlier, Sports Brief reported that An assistant referee in Ghana's Division One League had to run for his life after fans chased him for disallowing a goal between New Edubiase and Bekwai Youth FC.

New Edubiase had scored from a corner-kick but the linesman deemed it as offside which led to supporters of the club attacking him.

In a video posted on Twitter, spotted by Sports Brief, the linesman and his colleague officials had to run to save themselves from the irate fans.

The game had to be ended as the referees entered the inner perimeter to receive protection from the securities in charge on the day.
