Burnley will fancy their chances of picking at least a point against Chelsea following the recent distractions at the Blues camp as the London club has been put up for sale by its owner.

Sean Dyche's team are desperate to avoid relegation but have won just once in their last five home games, losing two and drawing the other two.

Chelsea knows a win will boost their Premier League ambitions as they are presently 16 points behind leaders Manchester City although having played two games less.

Chelsea has won four of the last four encounters between both teams with Burnley only picking a point in a 1-1 draw at Stamford Bridge in November 2021 according to New Scoccervista.

Burnley hasn’t beaten Chelsea since the surprising 3-2 win at the Bridge on opening day in the 2017-18 season.

Thomas Tuchel's team have been winners in eight of their last ten games in all competitions and are expected to pick maximum points again against a Burnley team struggling in 18th position on the league table.

Earlier, Sports Brief reported Chelsea will be considered favorites when the Blues take on Middlesbrough in the Quarter-finals of the English FA Cup.

The Stamford Bridge club will be wary of the threats of the Championship side as Middlesborough has previously knocked out Premier League opposition this season.

Middlesbrough had caused lots of upsets as they have seen off Manchester United and Tottenham to reach the last eight.
