There won't be any English Premier League games this weekend for the people of China after the Asian country threatened to cancel broadcasting the matches due to the Premier League's show of solidarity for Ukraine following Russia's invasion.
There are plans for all 20 Premier League teams to take part in similar gestures when they take to the field for this weekend's games.
However, the BBC reports that China is therefore considering not showing the games from the English top flight as teams continue to show solidarity with Ukrainians amid the war with Russia.
China is a close political ally of Vladimir Putin and is choosing to stand with him as his troops continue to invade Ukraine.
The BBC understands that the Premier League captains will wear special armbands in Ukrainian colours during games this weekend.
Stadium screens across the UK will display 'Football Stands Together' with the flag of Ukraine.
The report further claims that fans have been asked to join 'a moment of reflection and solidarity before kick-off at each game'.
Meanwhile, FIFA and UEFA have suspended Russian teams after the International Olympic Committee banned all athletes from the European country following their military invasion of Ukraine.
