The wealthiest African footballer in the world, Samuel Eto'o has had quite a successful career in football. The Cameroonian footballer has had 6 years of youth football and 26 years in his senior career in various top football clubs.

In 2019, the footballer announced his retirement from football. Born in 1981 Eto'o, aged 42 years old as of 2022, is the current president of the Cameroonian Football Association.

According to Richest.com, Samuel Eto'o's net worth is about $95 million. Eto'o maintained his position as the wealthiest African footballer in the world from 2020 to 2022. He has also appeared in lists of the richest African footballer of all time and Forbes list of richest African footballers.

2. Didier Yves Drogba Tébily

The former striker has received several awards for his skills and especially for his goal-scoring record. Drogba is still the fourth all-time top goal scorer for Chelsea between 2004 and 2012 and 2014 and 2015.
