Who sponsors Premier League teams? The league is the most well-known sports league in Europe, standing alone at the top of the list. As the league increasingly concentrates on generating income from partnerships and sponsors, it is interesting to observe how its popularity is translating into these agreements.

No league in the world generates more money than the English Premier League, which has been selling its TV rights for enormous sums and has successfully negotiated lucrative sponsorship agreements with major corporations. Since the Premier League's founding in 1992, several companies have emerged as its primary title sponsors.

Who sponsors the Premier League?

For several years, the two primary Premier League sponsors have been Carling Brewery and Barclays. Currently, EA Sports is the main partner of the Premier League, with Budweiser serving as the official beer, Castrol as the official engine oil, Hublot as the official timekeeper, Nike as the official ball, and Oracle as the official cloud partner.

The EPL's corporate sponsors are a testament to the league's popularity. With large television audiences and packed stadiums, each sponsor receives tremendous exposure from just one game.

Arsenal

Emirates first signed its sponsorship agreement with Arsenal in 2004, providing the airline with naming rights to the stadium. Emirates is still Arsenal's main sponsor, with the most recent contract of $250 million signed in 2018, and it is set to expire in 2024. The kits are supplied by Adidas on a six-year contract worth $360 million, also set to expire in 2024.

The sleeve sponsor for the Premier League team is the Visit Rwanda Tourist Board, having a $12 million per year deal, signed in 2018 and renewed in 2021, set to expire in 2025. The club's training kit deal is included in the Emirates contract.

Aston Villa

Cazoo is their main sponsor, with a deal worth $8 million per year, and was signed in 2020 after the club got promoted back to Premier League. The players' kits have been supplied by Castore since 2022. Other partners include Luke, Heineken, Purity, Aston University, Socios, Homeserve, Gym+Coffee, eToro, Monster Energy, and Cadbury.

Bournemouth

Dafabet is the club's main sponsor, and their current deal is set to expire in 2024. Bournemouth also signed a multimillion kit deal with Umbro in 2017 and later extended 2021 to run until 2026.

Their current sleeve sponsor is DeWalt, and the deal is expiring in 2023, together with MSP Capital's training kit deal. Other partners include Bournemouth University, Quinnbet, United Pallet Network, Alan & Thomas, BBC Radio Solent, Cedar Group, Heineken, Hendy Group, IPro, and Usana.

Brentford

The club signed a sponsorship deal with American Express worth $120 million in 2019, which expires in 2031. In the same year, they inked another $1.8 million per season deal with Nike, one of the best Premier League sponsors, for the kits.

Snickers UK is the club's sleeve sponsor. Other partners include Betway, FT Games, Energizer, Heineken, Harveys Brewery, Football Manager, iTalk, Sussex Skills Solutions, Mayo Wynne Baxter Solicitors, Donatello, Fileder Filter Systems, Mansell McTaggart, Gap Solutions, and Sun Harvest.

Chelsea

Chelsea signed a $48 million per year deal with a mobile phone company, Three, set to expire in 2023. The club also agreed to a $1 billion deal in 2016 for the kits with Nike until 2032. It is also reported that WhaleFin agreed on a sleeve deal worth $24 million per year in 2022.

The club's training kit partner is Trivago. Other partners include Cadbury, EA Sports, Go Markets, Hublot, Levy Restaurants, Parimatch, MSC Cruises, Singha, Rexona, and Zapp.

Crystal Palace

TeamViewer agreed to a $57 million per year contract as the main sponsor for Manchester united until 2026. The club also has an Adidas kit deal worth $90 million per year until 2025.

Their sleeve sponsor is DXC Technology, while Tezos is their training kit partner. Other partners include Apollo Tyres, Cadbury, Canon Medical Systems, Casillero Del Diablo, Chevrolet, Chivas, DHL, EcoLab, Kohler, Konami, Maul Jim, Marriott Hotels, Melitta, Mlily, Remington, Renewable Energy Group, Visit Malta, Qualcomm Technologies.

The UNHCR logo appearing on their shirts is not part of a sponsorship deal. It was revealed that both the Nottingham Forest Men's and Women's teams will compete in all matches beginning in 2023 with the UK for UNHCR logo on the front of their shirts as a show of support for families who have been compelled to flee their homes and communities.
