AC Milan transfer news

AC Milan is once again in the process of pursuing a deal to secure the services of the promising Chelsea striker Armando Broja. Emerging young talent Lorenzo Colombo is set to seek regular playing opportunities elsewhere. The club is also actively pursuing the sale of Divock Origi, who, despite joining just a year ago, is no longer considered a part of the club's future plans.

AC Milan owners

The club is owned by RedBird, an American investment firm with about $6 billion in assets under management. Gerry Cardinale is the founder and managing partner of the company. RedBird completed the purchase of AC Milan for $1.3 billion from New York-based investment firm Elliott Management in May 2022.

AC Milan's stadium

The defending Serie A champions play their home matches at the San Siro stadium, which is also the home ground of Inter Milan. The stadium is located in the San Siro district of Milan, Italy, with a capacity of 80,018. San Siro officially opened on 19 September 1926. Initially, it was owned by AC Milan but was sold to the city of Milan in 1935.

In 2020, Italy's heritage authority approved the stadium's demolition. As a result, the Rossoneri have reportedly started building a new stadium through their new owners. The development is estimated to cost around $733 million and will have a capacity of 50,000 to 70,000 seats.

Stefano Pioli has been the club's head coach since joining in 2019. Pioli has been an excellent manager, helping the team return to the world football elite. He took the club back to the Champions League after seven years of absence and won the Scudetto.
