Team ownership and management

The team is owned by Wes Edens, Jamie Dinan, Dee Haslam, and Jimmy Haslam. Herb Kohl, a former US Senator, was the long-time owner of the team.

On 16th April 2014, he sold the majority interest to a group led by billionaire hedge fund managers Wes Edens and Marc Lasry. In April 2023, investors Dee and Jimmy Haslam made a share purchase of the Milwaukee Bucks from team co-owner Marc Lasry.
