Atlanta Hawks' arena

What is the capacity of the Atlanta Hawks' stadium? The team plays its home games at the State Farm Arena. The stadium officially opened on 18 September 1999 and has a basketball capacity of 16,600.

Besides basketball, the State Farm Arena also hosts several concerts. It was recently named the Best New Concert Venue in the US.

Like many other NBA teams, the Hawks' logo has also transformed since its inception, majorly based on the team's location and name. Their inaugural logo (1946-1951) had thin black stripes on a blue background, forming an oval inscribed in a circle with several cities (Moline / Rock Island, Illinois, and Davenport, Iowa).

The current logo, redesigned in 2020, has two white double rings on a red background with the words "Atlanta Hawks Basketball" and a sharp beak of a bird of prey.

Atlanta Hawks' injury report

There are no current injury reports on the team. This is an advantage because it allows the coach to select from a full roster of players when planning lineups and rotations.

Atlanta Hawks' championship record

The Atlanta-based franchise won only one NBA championship in 1958 as the St. Louis Hawks. They also made it to the Eastern Conference Finals in 1969, 1970, 2015 and 2021 but lost to their opponents.

Atlanta Hawks trade rumors

Some recent trade rumors on the Atlanta Hawks are:

  • The Hawks are looking to trade for a power forward or center before the start of the season.
  • The Hawks are looking for a trade package for Pascal Siakam.
