The Phoenix Suns' coach is Monty Williams from Notre Dame College. He made headlines of late after having a heated exchange with one of his players during their game 7 loss to the Mavericks, which rapper Lil Wayne claims to have heard. So, what did Deandre Ayton say to Monty Williams? Skip Bayless appeared on a TV show where he revealed what Lil Wayne might have heard. He claimed he said,

"This, from what I was told, got really ugly. From what our man Lil Wayne told me…I think he either heard it or could lip-read. Monty got so upset with Ayton that he said, 'You fricking quit on us.' And that led to an exchange where Monty and Ayton had to be restrained from going at each other."

Monty did not reveal much about the exchange, terming it as internal. Likewise, Ayton has not commented on the issue.

Phoenix Suns' stadium

They have a stadium called the Footprint Center. This is a new name after a deal was made with a tech company called Footprint which is keen on environmental conservation. In an interview, Phoenix Suns owner Robert Sarver said that,

"We're going to innovate and transform how sports venues operate. The idea is Footprint will create an innovation lab for us within our arena, and then we can take that and get other arenas throughout the world interested in doing the same thing."

The owner retired from the Western Alliance Bancorporation amid investigations on allegations of racism and misogyny. He has, however, denied these allegations.

The team's current logo consists of an orange ball with a yellow firelike drawing behind it, imitating the sun. The logo is unique and complements its name.

Phoenix Suns' NBA playoffs

The side is no longer in the playoffs after being eliminated in the 7th round. The Phoenix Suns vs Dallas Mavericks game was chaotic, ending in an exchange between the coach and one of the players. Despite losing in game 7, the Phoenix Suns' championships hopes are still alive for the next season. In their history, they won three Western Conference titles in 1976, 1993 and 2021.

So, who is the best Phoenix Suns' player? Chris Paul is their best player. He was also ranked number 13 among the NBA's best players in the 2021-2022 season. Devin Booker comes a close second.
