TS Galaxy FC history

An ambitious South African football team based in Sandton, Johannesburg playing their Premier Soccer League (PSL) matches at the Mbombela Stadium in Mpumalanga. The Rockets competed in the CAF Confederation Cup at the Nedbank Cup. Before purchasing Cape Town All-Stars' National First Division status in 2018, the club played in the SAFA Second Division.

In their first season in the GladAfrica Championship, the Rockets made history by winning the Nedbank Cup against all odds. The club rose to the top after beating Kaizer Chiefs in 2018. The iconic Mbombela Stadium is a football and rugby union stadium in Mbombela, formerly Nelspruit, South Africa, built as one of the 10 venues for the 2010 FIFA World Cup and one of five new stadiums erected for the tournament. The Rockets' home ground is a 46,000 entirely roofed seat stadium.

After beating Kaizer Chiefs, the team's qualification to the Caf Confederation Cup boosted their rank in African football. They are currently at number 16 in the Premier League. Ranked 1723 globally, 283 in Africa and 24 in South Africa.
