He completed his first season with the Juvenil A side and made an immediate impact, scoring nearly a goal per game (finishing with 36); the squad finished runners-up in the Copa del Rey Juvenil de Ftbol, and on June 25th 2013, he signed a new deal with the Basque club, lasting until 2017.

He began the 2013-14 season with Basconia, a Tercera División feeder team. However, after suffering a knee injury later in August, he returned to action in October, making his senior debut and scoring a goal. Inaki Williams' current team is Athletic Bilbao.

He was promptly called up by the reserves in Segunda División B, had played his first match, and scored his first goals at that level by the end of the same month; he spent the season alternating between both squads.

He scored a hat-trick for Bilbao Athletic in a 4-0 win over Amorebieta at the opening of the 2014-15 season. He followed that up on September 7th 2014, with another treble in a 5-1 defeat of Leioa. Despite only appearing in the first half of the season, his 13 goals in 18 games aided the team's promotion to the Segunda División.

On October 1, he broke the record set by Juan Antonio Larraaga of Real Sociedad between 1986 and 1992 by making his 203rd consecutive appearance in a home match against Alavés.
