US-based Ghanaian boxer Yahu Blackwell will be enstooled as Osu Noryaa Mantse, “The Development King at Large”, by His Royal Majesty (HRM) Notse Nii Nortey Owuo IV of the Osu Empire.
Yahu Blackwell grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, USA, but his heritage is of the Gadangme bloodlines and a descendant of Ayi Kushi.
Ayi Kushi was a king of the Gadangme, the first known Gã Mantse of recorded History.
The Great Nicolai Ashaley, the leader of the great migration, was both a spiritual and political leader of the Gã people, and he led the Gãs to their homelands and unified the various Gã state through the giving of "His Seven Commandments".
His Excellency Yahu Blackwell has already begun working with HRM on several projects in the Osu territory, beginning with the launch of a brand-new science lab.
Meanwhile, Yahu Blackwell will reportedly make his official return to the ring at the end of June in a Cruiserweight highly anticipated match at Santa Domingo in the Dominican Republic against Columbian fighter Roberto Gonzales.
The scheduled 8-round bout will be for the WBC and WBA regional titles.
Dogboe gets shot at title fight
In other related boxing news, Sports Brief reported that Ghanaian boxer Isaac Dogboe grinds out a splendid split points victory over America's Joet to win the WBO International featherweight title.
A WBC featherweight title eliminator, Dogboe has put himself up for a shot at the WBC featherweight title next as he chases his dream of becoming a two-time world champion.
The fight was held at the Grand Casin in Hinckley, Minnesota on Saturday.
