And according to ESPN Ringside, Garcia has already chosen his next trainer, who will guide him towards his goal of securing a starting shot at 140 pounds.

While there has been no official confirmation to the story, Garcia however did retweet ESPN's report from his official Twitter account.

Their very brief history

Garcia started working with Goossen prior to his bout against Ghanaian boxer Emmanuel Tagoe in April 2022.

Garcia won two of his three fights while under Goossen's guidance, one of which was a knockout victory over Javier Fortuna.

However, the fighter decided it was time for a change after his defeat to Davis.

Garcia's trainer before Goosens?

Garcia was trained by Eddy Reynoso, with whom he had previously won all five of his fights before he teamed up with Goossen.

He left Reynoso's gym though, complaining that he wasn't being given enough attention because of the large number of fighters there and Reynoso's obligations to Canelo Alvarez.

As Garcia looks to get back on track and advance through the ranks toward a championship title, his fans are eagerly anticipating his next move.

Why Garcia lost to Davis

Taking to social media, Garcia claimed that there was a mole in his camp that provided Davis with information, Marca reported.

Tank himself hinted before the fight that Garcia was coming into the bout injured. While he didn’t reveal how he knew, he was confident that KingRy wasn’t 100% and exploited it perfectly. He also admitted that he had eyes and ears everywhere and that talk spreads fast.

Ironically, Garcia previously stated that he didn't mind if Davis had an informant in his camp, because there was nothing they would find that would help Tank win.

Davis wins with body shot

King Ryan Garcia and Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis finally settled their beef in an action-packed fight in Las Vegas.

Billed as the biggest fight of the year, both Garcia and Davis came into the fight with undefeated streaks and notorious knockout power.

Davis won the bout when he stopped Garcia in the seventh round with a nasty body shot, Sports Brief reported.
