She said:

"I dedicate my fights to women and children who were abused and could not speak for themselves. My fights are about telling them that they can fight what they went through, and also know that they are not alone.
"We need to be the change we wish to see in others. Women out there must speak out and don't let the abusers take advantage of you. Let's empower each other and love each other."

The co-main event is another title fight in which Malawi's Ellen Simwaka will try to fend off Lanah Kasweka (6-0-0) of Zambia for her IBF Africa Bantamweight belt.

Elsewhere, it will be an all-South African affair in a six-round Junior Featherweight bout between Nosiacwase Dube (0-3-2) and Lufundo Mutshayi (1-6-1). In the same division, local fighter Matshidiso Mokebisi (15-10-1) will take on Zimbabwe's Patience Mastara (5-7-4) over eight rounds.

Television viewers can catch the action starting at 7pm (CAT) on ESPN channel 218, SABC Sport as well as select broadcasters across the continent.

Anthony Joshua sends a huge message to Oleksandr Usyk after losing a blockbuster rematch against the Ukrainian

British-Nigerian boxer Anthony Joshua has expressed disappointment at himself following his loss to Oleksandr Usyk in their rematch over the weekend.

As reported by Sports Brief, moments after the loss to the champion, AJ managed to grab the mic and spilled some words, as many believe he seemed intoxicated. Pundits and professionals had posited that it would be a difficult fight for Joshua, while some expected him to win.

However, Usyk was announced the winner by split decision after two of the judges scored the fight for the champion with scores of 115-113 Joshua, 115-113 Usyk, and 116-112 Usyk.
