  • Mayweather amassed world championships in five divisions during a successful boxing career
  • He retired in 2017 undefeated and is keen on exhibition matches these days
  • After the 2021 fight with Youtuber Logan Paul, Mayweather is set for another fight in early 2022, against a 19-year old Youtuber

Boxing icon Floyd Mayweather is set to make a return to the ring for an exhibition fight in February, with his opponent likely to be Youtuber turned boxer Reshad ‘Money Kicks’ Belhasa.

The Money Man’s comeback to the boxing ring will be an intimate boxing event in the Middle East.

February 20 is the scheduled date for the exhibition bout, and it will come just four days to Mayweather’s 45th birthday.

One interesting bit about the fight is it will likely be staged at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah's helipad., with only an elite few set to attend as spectators.

While posing at the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah hotel, Mayweather said:

"I spoke with [my advisors] about Money Kicks. We don't really know.

"He is from [Dubai]. It is going to be great.

"It will be a very special crowd. Not too many people. So, if you get the chance to come here, you must know that you are very special.

"Money Kicks is doing big things and I like what I am seeing."

Belhasa is a popular Youtube star, whose channel boasts over 3 million subscribers.

He, like Mayweather, is also known for flaunting his luxurious lifestyle on social media.

Notably, he is only 19, a massive 25 years younger than Mayweather.

Having only made his debut at the ring last summer, he won his first fight by defeating an online influencer.

He recently turned to boxing, possibly deriving inspiration from fellow Youtuber Logan Paul, who also recently faced Mayweather in an exhibition match that lasted a full eight rounds last year.

At the time, Mayweather, who retired with a perfect 50-0 record in 2017, vowed never to return to the ring.
