Amos Serem bags Kenya's inaugural athletics medal

Sports Brief also reported that Amos Serem clinched Kenya's inaugural track medal at the 2023 African Games, securing silver in the event.

The triumph came amidst fierce competition from Ethiopia's Samuel Debisa, who claimed gold, and Simon Kiprop, who secured the bronze.

Despite Kenya's strong start and dominant performance throughout much of the race, they were unable to muster the final burst of speed needed to seize victory.
