Adorable video has emerged on social media where Tobi Amusan was spotted leading Nigeria 4x100 relay women team to the podium as they buga to receive their Commonwealth gold medals.

It was a yet another great day on Sunday, 7 August, for Tobi Amusan as the Nigerian won gold again at the Commonwealth games which was another significant record.

Having won gold at the World Athletics Championship in Oregon, Tobi Amusan caught the attention of many fans around the world who took to social media to praise her.

The 25-year-old however promised to do well in the Commonwealth games and she did not disappoint her fans and Nigerians.

According to the video posted on Twitter, Tobi Amusan and her colleagues showed the buga skills while going up to the podium.

CWG: Emotional but Determined Tobi Amusan Holds Back Tears As Nigerian Anthem Played After Winning Gold

Earlier, Sports Brief had reported how Incredible Nigerian athlete Tobi Amusan managed to hold back tears while the Nigerian national anthem played after she won gold at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham.

The 25-year-old set a new Commonwealth Games record in the Women’s 100m Hurdles after crossing the finish line in 12.30s.

This comes barely two weeks after she became the first Nigerian athlete to win a World Athletics Championship gold as she stormed to victory in the women’s 100m hurdles in Oregon.

Amusan, who had obliterated the world record in an astonishing semi-final where she clocked 12.12sec, powered over the line at Hayward Field in 12.06sec.

Recall that her emotions overcame her while the national anthem played at the World Athletics Championships as she let out tears of joy.

But this time in Birmingham, she struggled to hold her breath for the duration that the Nigerian national anthem played and then let out a big smile in the end.

Tobi Amusan shattered the Games Record at the Commonwealth Games, taking the win in the women's 100mH with a brilliant 12.30s (-0.2) ahead of Devyne Charlton who was 2nd in 12.58s, just edging Cindy Sember in 3rd with 12.59s.
